MCT4 Monitor Point Tutorial Video
Following and attached are transcripts of the video.
The MCT4 control has an optional module that enables monitoring up to 8 different points.
These points can be seen from the controls Overview screen.
This control has all 8 monitor points enabled.
To disable or change the number of points monitored, you need to access the control configuration.
From the home screen, press the menu icon in the upper left corner.
Then press settings.
Press Menu again.
Press offline, and yes.
Press Menu for a third time.
Then press Exit.
Select the Exit application. Configuration mode start up. Then press Yes.
Early versions of the control firmware will require you to cycle the power when System Startup Please Wait is displayed. This control has newer firmware and will proceed to the configuration without cycling power.
When the MCT Configuration screen is displayed, press menu.
Then press Setup, then Control Setup.
The Monitor Points setting will be shown.
For this tutorial, we will disable all of the monitor points.
Press the monitor points setting.
Enter zero, then press done.
The monitor points setting is now set to zero.
To return to the home screen, press menu, then file.
Then press Exit, and Yes.
Again, older controls will need to have the power cycled when System Startup Please Wait is displayed.
This control will automatically reboot and return to the home screen.
To confirm that the Monitor Points have been disabled, press Menu.
Then Overview.
The monitor points are not displayed.
